Crossbreds In Demand ,
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Slarch 21. At the wool sales to-day 6652 bales were offered, including 663 New Zealand, and 4418 were sold. The demand is generally less active, prices tending in buyers’ favour. The small supply of crossbreds offered met with keen competition, but Avithdrawals tvere frequent all round. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated March 21: The auctions continue fairly animated. The market has developed a better tone since the opening, particularly for greasy crossbreds and Sipe wools generally. The following prices are current: —
