CAR STRIKES POLE
By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, March 11. A motor-car which collided at midnight with a telephone pole at Spring Creek smashed a length of several feet right out of it. The driver, Patrick Ryan, licensee of the Junction Hotel, Spring Creek, who who was returning from Blenheim, luckily escaped with chest and leg injuries.
