London Lamb Market Quiet CHILLED BEEF EASIER Lamb market: Some descriptions have a-ain eased slightly. The demand is rather quiet this week owing to exceptionally warm weather for the time of year. Mutton market: Wethers steady owing to light spot stocks. Ewes: Tentency is easier with poor demand. Beef market: Frozen beef firm with better demaud Chilled beef: Easier this week, warm weather has affected demand. New Zealand porker pigs: Heavyweights quiet and unchanged, other descriptions easier with slow trade. New Zealand baconer pigs : Market steady and unchanged. The above report was received yesterday by the Meat Board which advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods sold ou Thursday.
