NURSING DIVISIONS

First Meeting For The New Year The first meeting for 1938 of the Wellington Nursing Division and the Wellington Cadet Nursing Division was held this .week in the St. John Ambulance Rooms, Vivian Street. There was a fairly good attendance, and several apologies were received. The Lady Divisional Superintendent, Mrs. Wilson, referred to the great, loss sustained by the death of Sir Truby King, ail members standing in silence as a mark of respect.

Officers and members regretted that owing to ill-health, Dr. Palmer, Divisional Surgeon, had sent in his resignation; and also that Mrs. Warner, lady cadet officer, had found it necessary to relinquish her duties. Letters of appreciation of their services will be sent to them.

Two other probationary members were also welcomed. Mrs. Wilson thanked officers for their help during the year and also thanked members, for assisting on the Street Day for the'St. John Ambulance held on February 24. Triangular bandaging was practised during the evening.
