£650 Worse For TenMonth Period The net result of ferry operations for the 10 months ending January was £650 worse fhan for the same period of the previous financial year, according to a report presented to the Eastbourne Borough Council last night. For January the traffic receipts were £3OO higher than for January, 1937, but expenditure for the 10 months ended last month was £950 higher. The position in January showed a fairly substantial improvement and good weather in the remaining two months would result in further improvement. January receipts were £1779, compared with £1572 in the same month of 1937. Expenditure was £2451, including £1458 for a new bus chassis. In January, 1937, the expenditure was £6BO.
