HORTICULTURAL SHOW
The Wellington Horticultural Society’s mid-summer show will be held in the Town Hall on Wednesday, during the afternoon and evening. The show will be officially opened at 3 o'clock by Mrs. Knox Gilmer, president of the society. Schedules may be obtained from the secretary. Gladioli, dahlias, and hydrangeas provide types of blooms particularlv suitable for show purposes, and it is expected that this summer's show will be well up to expectations. An attractive feature of the show will be the trade displays, and also the deeorated tables—the work of the women of the committee and the members of women’s clubs.
