A picture of the comp of the Soviet North-Polar Meteorological Expedition camp, the safety of which at one time was regarded with apprehension owing to the danger that the ice floe on which it was drifting might break up. The expedition is now approaching the coast of Greenland on the floe, and is considered safe.
