New Gunboat destined for the Yangtse River: H.M.S. Scorpion moving down the slipway at Cowes, Isle of Wight, at her launching, just before Christmas. Scorpion will act as flagship of the Yangtse flotilla. Her armament consists of two 4-inch guns, one 3.7-inch howitzer, and 13 smaller guns.
