NEW OCEAN-GOING YACHT
Designed For World Cruise Dominion Special Service. Auckland, January 27. An order for an ocean-going ketchrigged yacht has been placed with S. F. Ford, Ellerslie, by Messrs. W. Hampton and G. Little, Auckland. The new vessel, a start on which has been made, will be 38ft. overall, with a beam of lift, and a draught of sft. 91n. It is the intention of Messrs. Hampton and Little to make a cruise of the world in their new craft, which is expected to take the water toward the end of April. The boat was designed by her builder, who proposes later to construct a similar vessel for his own use.
