Mid-Canterbury Seat

Ashburton, January 19.
In addition to Mr. R. T. McMillan the following names have been submitted for a ballot of the National Party delegates for nomination for the MidCanterbury seat at the general elections : Messrs. C. C. Campion, farmer, Methven; J. R. Fleming, farmer, Methven ; and A. A. McLachlan, solicitor, Christchurch. The sitting member, Mr. H. E. Herring, has been selected as the Labour candidate, and he intends to .contest the seat.
