Conference Next Year By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, December 17. Arrangements for a special conference of New Zealand Rugby Leagues early in 1938 have been advanced, It litis been decided to invite Inangahiia (West Coa.<t sub-league). Bay of Plenty, King Country and Tokaanu district leagues to be represented. Mr. H. Sunderland, team manager of the touring Kangaroos, wrote referring to his interest in New Zealand s participation in the programme arranged for next year in connection with the sequicentenary celebrations of New South Wales. He pointed out that it was now certain that the Australian team would not return home via New Zealand.
