£450 FOR EXHIBITION
Power Board’s Contribution
The sum of £450 was voted by the Hutt Valley Power Board yesterday as its contribution toward the proposed electrical section of the Wellington Centennial Exhibition. Mr. S. Blackley, chairman of the committee of the Power Boards’ Association which considered the exhibition project, said there were great possibilities of education and advertisement in the electrical section of the exhibition. Any allocation could be spread over three payments to be completed by November, 1939. It was hoped to have the co-operation of the boards in the other centres and that the electrical court would include a trade exhibit. The chairman, Mr. A. W. Press, said the board was indebted to the committee for its work on the subject.
