CYCLING ENDURANCE RECORD
London, September 26.
The cyclist Rene Menzies, aged 48, who has covered 44,716 miles since January 1 in his attempt to beat the existing 12 months’ cycling endurance record of 45,383 miles, met with an accident and broke his arm. He resumed after receiving treatment and hopes to beat the record by September 29, with three months to spare.
