ROADSIDE COLLISION
Decision Against Fanner Judgment was given by Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Upper Hutt, yesterday for £l3/13/- in favour of P. Parag, bottle dealer, Wellington, against W. Barton, farmer, White Rock, Masterton. Parag alleged that when his motortruck was standing on the side of the main road at Upper Hutt Barton so negligently or unskilfully drove his car that it collided with his truck. Damage to the extent of £5/3/- was done, and £2 worth of bottles were broken. He was unable to use the truck for three days, which resulted in a loss to him of £6/10/-. Barton appeared in person. Mr. J. J. Garbett represented Parag.
