Frenchmen Sentenced to Death in Spain (.Received July 30, J a.m. i Paris, July 29. International repercussions are expected ns a result of the Spanish insurgents sentencing to d_eath two Frenchmen. According to “Le Jour” the Frenchmen were allegedly found in a frontier village carrying tubes of typhoid germs. They are reported to have confessed they each received 100,000 francs to scatter the germs behind the insurgent lines. General Franco is reported to have delayed their executions pending the establishment of an international tribunal to consider the case.
