MONDAY’S WRESTLING
So lung as Earl McCready is in New Zealand the cry is for someone to beat him, alid it is a tribute to the big Canadian's prowess that only once has that been managed in (lie Dominion. This year, however, a number of formidable wrestlers are on McCready's heels, and at least one of these has shown, that it would not be too much to expect him to do the iob before long—“ King Kong” Cox, the lough wrestler from Los Angeh's, whose battles with McCready are ‘likely Io be among the highlights of the season. AVellington enthusiasts have had one opportunity of seeing Cox pitted against McCready, and they will have their return bent in the Town Hall on Monday night. Cox has discovered that lie has not a great deal to tear trom rhe Empire champion, ami with the added confidence which is bound to come from their knowledge, Cox, who seldom lacks assertion at any time, will he an exceedingly hard man for McCready to cope with. |
