NURSES’ SALARIES
Board Decides to Make Increases By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, July 28. Nurses in the employ of the North Canterbury Hospital Board are in many instances to get salary increases. The new salaries range from £37/10/a year for a pupil nurse (old scale £3O), to £95 for a registered nurse told scale £75). Increases are provided for first and secontl-year sisters, making the salaries £l2O and £l3O resiteetirely. The maximum for sisters is £lBO in the seventh year, with £2OO after 15 years, and £220 for night sisters.
