Queen Mary Turns Loss Into Profit (Received April 19, 8.10 p.m.) London, April 19. The Cunard-White Star liner Queen Mary’s popularity and success is one. of the chief causes of the company’s loss of £61,769 in 1935 being turned into a profit of £546,659 last year. The Cunnrd Line emphasises that there has been continued improvement, in Atlantic passenger earnings since the Queen Mary’s maiden voyage.
