NEW STOCK ROUTE
Wairarapa Farmers’ Hopes Dominion Special Service. Masterton, April 19. At to-day’s meeting of the Masterton branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, the secretary, Mr. J. Matson, drew attention to the “domestic Quarrels” between the Masterton Borough Council and the county council over the Waipoua River improvement scheme, and mentioned that as an agreement had been effected by those bodies it was hoped that the stock route from the northern approach bridge to Colombo Road, which the farmers’ union had been advocating, would be included in the scheme.
