Hutt Valley and Rongotai Old Boys The end of the tennis season for members of the old boys’ associations of B<2ligotai College and Hutt Valley High School was celebrated by a match at Miramar on Sunday. After a hardfought contest, played under ideal conditions, Hutt won by nine matches to seven. Following are the results, Hutt players being mentioned first: — SINGLES. Hughes lost to N. A. Morrison, 4-6, 3-6; D. Wiggins beat Lauchlan, 6-4, 5-7, 6-3; Robertson lost to K. Yeoman, 5- 2-6; Croudis lost to S. Keir, 7-5, 3-6. 6-1; Frame beat T. Gordon, 6-2, 6- ; Mount beat E. Bedford, 6-2, 6-4; Leighton lost to Boosey, 2-6, 4-6; 1. Wiggins lost to R. J. Lancaster, 4-6. 0-6. DOUBLES. Wiggins and Robertson beat Lauchlan and Morrison, 6-3, 1-6, 8-6; Croudis and Frame beat Yeoman and Keir, 6-2, 6-1; Hughes and Mount beat Gordon and Bedford, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3; Leighton and Wiggins lost to Lancaster and Boosey, 2-6, 13-15; Croudis and Frame lost to Lauchlan and Morrison, 1-G, 6-2, 3-G; Wiggins and Robertson beat Yeoman and Keir. 7-5, 7-5; Hughes and Mount beat Lancaster and Boosey, 6-2, 2-6, 6-0; Leighton and Wiggins lost to Gordon and Bedford, 2-6, 6-1, 5-7.
