MOTOR-CYCLE RACES
Ixion Club’s Meeting The Ixion Motor-cycle Club was favoured with beautiful weather and a perfect beach for its third and final race meeting of the season, which was held on Waikanae Beach on Sunday. Although entries were rather small some very good racing was seen. Results are as follows: — Two-mile scratch, 500 c.c.: W. Bowe (Ariel), 1; D. Rockel (Rudge),, 2; H. Goodyear (Norton), 3. Time, 2.3. ’ Two mile scratch, 350 c.c.: L. Albrecht (Excelsior), 1; C. A. Wilkinson (Velocette), 2; S. Paul (Velocette), 3. Time, 2.17.6. Half-mile standing start, 500 c.c.: W. Bowe, 1; A. Langford (Ariel), 2; H. Goodyear. 3. Half-mile standing start, 350 c.c.: L. Albrecht, 1; S. Paul, 2. Time, 31.6 sec. Five-mile scratch, 500 c.c.: W. Bowe, 1; A. Langford, 2; J. Douglas (Scott), 3. Time, 5.15.8. Five-mile scratch, 350 b.c.: C. A. Wilkinson, 1; S. Paul, 2; L. Albrecht, 3. Time, 5.48.2. Six-mile open handicap: J. Douglas, 1; S. Paul, 2; IV. Bowe, 3. Ten-mile open handicap: J.
