THEFT OF BOOTS
Carpenter Sent to Jail Iu the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, on Saturday morning, George Pollock, alias George Louise Bertram, labourer, aged 44, a third offender for drunkenness, was convicted and sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment with bard labour by Mr. E. D. Mosley. S.M. William Henry Homes, carpenter, lor theft of a pair of lioots on April lb. valued at £l/5/-. was convicted and sentenced to one month’s imprisonment with hard labour. Sub-lnspceton J. A. Dempsey prosecuted.
