DOG NUISANCE
Wellington Complaints A plea for more stringent control of dogs in the streets was made by Cr. W. Appleton at a meeting of the Wellington City Council on Thursday night. People were complaining about the nuisance dogs were making of themselves, said Cr. Appleton. On several occasions men collecting refuse had been attacked by dangerous dogs, and it was time that the regulations were tightened up. He wondered whether it would not be possible to issue instructions to the officials to be more strict.
On the suggestion of the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, the by-laws committee was asked to bring down a report.
