STRIKE ON RAILWAYS AVERTED
Canadian Wage Parley
Montreal, March 29.
A strike of 117,000 railwaymen was averted through a wage parley initiated by the Minister of Labour, Mr. N. M. Rogers. The railway administration agrees to restore next month the 10 per cent, wage cut made during the depression.
