Dr. Bowman covers most aspects of mental life, giving due weight to hereditary physical factors as well as to the iutlueuees of society aud environment. After dealing with fundamental conditions, the nervous system, the glands of internal secretion and physical disease, ho discusses the problems of ebilil training, industrial efficiency, domestic happiness, mental fatigue, sex and marriage, the use of mental stimulants aud sedatives, and moral and spiritual values. His book is entirely., ! practical in its application and sound in the opinions and advice it expresses.
