Sailing Day Changed Commencing with the Monterey, which was originally scheduled to leave Auckland on Saturday, May 1, for Los Angeles and San Francisco, the vessels of the Matson Line will leave Auckland on their homeward-bound voyage on a Monday instead of a Saturday. Under her new’ schedule the Monterey will leave Sydney for Auckland on Friday, April 30. arriving ou the following Monday morning and sailing at 5 p.m. the same day for Suva, Pago Pago, Honolulu, Los Angeles, aud San Francisco. This arrangement for sailings on Monday will then continue. The Mariposa, which is to leave Auckland on April 3, will bo the last vessel ot (lie line to sail for Los Angeles and San Francisco on a Saturday. MATUA LEAVES SUVA. The Union Company’s motor-ship Matua left Suva on Thursday for Auckland, where she is due next Monday morning. She is due at Wellington next Thursday and will leave here again on April 3 for Auckland and the islands. AWATEA’S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company’s liner Awatea, from Auckland, is due at Sydney this morning. She is to leave there again at 5 p.m. today for Wellington. The Awatea is due here next Tuesday morning and will leave again later the same day on the return trip to Sydney. WAIRANGI’S DEPART UR E. The Shaw, Savill motor-ship Wairangi is now time dto clear Lyttelton finally on April 1 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. MATAROA DUE NOON TO-MORROW. From London and Southampton, via Curacao, Kingston and the Panama Canal, the Shaw’, Savill liner Mataroa, is due at Wellington at noon to-morrow and will berth at the Pipitea Wharf. She is to leave here again on April 2 for Auckland to complete discharge of her London cargo and to commence her Homeward loading. ARAWA SAILING TO-NIGHT. The Shaw, Savill liner Arawa is timed to leave Wellington at 10 p.m. to-day for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal, Kingston and Curacao. KAREPO REPLACES KAIMIRO. The Union Company’s Karepo is now to leave Wellington to-day for Newcastle and Sydney to load for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff in place of the Kaimlro. KUMARA REPORTS. En route from Glasgow in ballast, via Sydney, the Shaw, Savill steamer Kumara has reported by wireless that she expects to reach Oamaru at 1 p.m. to-day to commence her Homeward loading. MAHIA LEAVES LONDON. Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that the Ylahia left London last Tuesday for Australia. After discharge there she will load Homeward in New Zealand during May-June. SURREY IN PORT. To complete her Homeward loading the Federal steamer Surrey arrived in the stream at Wellington last night from Gisborne and will berth this morning at the King's Wharf. She is to clear this port finally on April 2 for Halifax, London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. NORTHUMBERLAND SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading, the Federal steamer Northumberland left Wellington at 7 a.m. yesterday for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via Cape Horn. AKDENVOHR LEAVES NEW YORK. The Federal Company has received cabled advice that the A. and A. Line chartered motor-ship Ardenvohr left New York on March IS. Philadelphia on March 20 and Newport News on March 22 for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on April 20. GODLEY HEAD BUOY. The Marine Department advises that the whistling buoy at Godley Head at the entrance to Lyttelton Harbour is out. It will be relighted as soon as possible. RIDLEY AT AUCKLAND.
