“AGENT OF HITLER”
French Fascist Deputy Criticised Paris, March 23. The Prime Minister, M. Leon Blum, was shouted down by members of the Right when he rose in. the Chamber of Deputies to intervene in a debate on the Clichy riots and the ensuing halfday general strike. The Prime Minister wished to interrupt Dr. Jean Ybarnegaray, vice-presi-dent of the French Social Party (formerly the Croix de Feu), who denied that members of his party tired on the crowd.
When Dr. Ybarnegaray said that Germany would never permit Communism to be installed in France there were cries of “Traitor” and “Agent of Hitler.”
