Mr. Jordan’s Address on League (Received March 24, 7.35 p.m.) London, March 23. The High Commissioner for New Zealand in London. Mr. W. J. -lordan, addressing the Shoreham branch of the League of Nations Union, said: “If we could get the opinions of the peoples of all nations, instead of their Governments, we should get whole-hearted denunciation of war. “The League is not interested so much in flags or Governments as in the •welfare of peoples and their desire for progress and their hatred of war,” Mr. Jordan added.
