Fathers and School Draw
On Monday afternoon a Fathers versus School cricket match was played at Scots College. The wicket was good in spite of rain during the night. Fathers batted first, and. scored 162 (Beard 54, Janies 49, Biss 15). School retaliated with the same score, 162 (Wall 62, Potiki 15, Ailley 12), and the match resulted in a draw. Bowling for Fathers, Biss took two wickets for 23 runs; Janies, two for 15; Doneghue, two for 24; Beard, two for 29. For the School, McKenzie took one wicket for 58 runs, Potiki, one for 28; Laniberg, four for 39; Brown, one for 20; Fellowes, two for 1.
