Sequel to Monk’s Sit-down
Strike
Cairo, March 16. The Patriarch has accepted the resignation of tlie Abbot Sidarons. a dispute with whom caused the strike of Coptic monks. In a letter to the Patriarch, the tiblsit says: “A monk’s life must be founded on peace and love. My brethren do not want me. They have many evil intentions which I am unable to combat.”
