CATHEDRAL VANDALS
Welsh Football Crowd
Loudon, March 16,
Amazing rowdyism and vandalism in Gloucester Cathedral was blamed on a section of 6000 Welshmen who visited the city to see Welsh and English boys play a Rugby match. Police are attempting to trace vandals who, wearing red berets and scarves, smoking, and many of them tipsy, decorated statues with effigies and berets, and danced, sang and shouted round the tombs.
