WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
Child Struck by Motor-car
June Dixon, a child of five, living at 267 Cuba Street, was struck by a motor-ear at the corner of Cuba and Abel Smith Streets, at 7.10 on Saturday evening. She received a fractured arm, contusions and shock. While engaged in cargo work on the Waimarino at Queen’s Wharf, on Saturday afternoon, Mr. A. Kennedy, 79A I’irie Street, Wellington, received an injury to his right foot. Knocked down by a motor-car at 4.10 on Saturday afternoon, Mr. A. E. Moyle, moulder, 47 Mulgrave -Street, received wounds to the scalp. All three sufferers were taken to the Public Hospital by the Free Ambulance.
