OBITUARY
Mrs. Margaret McAulay The death of Mrs. Margaret McAulay, wife of Mr. R. S. McAulay and one of the pioneer settlers of Eisthorpe, occurred early yesterday morning at her residence, Rosewood, states a “Dominion” Special Service message from Hastings. Mrs. McAulay was born at Clive and was iu her 73rd year. She was prominent during the Great War for her efforts on behalf of the men at the front and took a leading part in most of the activities of her district. Site was an enthusiastic worker for the Plunket Society and an active member of the Eisthorpe Women’s Institute.
