Mr. T. C. Brash, who has served the New Zealand Presbyterian Church in many capacities over a large number of years, has received the unusual honour of election as Moderator of the Welllington Presbytery. This is the first, occasion on which a layman has been appointed to that position in Wellington. Mr. Brash, who has been prominent as a Bible class leader, is well known throughout New Zealand as secretary of the New Zealand Dairy Control Board.
