Waipukurau Sale ' Dominion Special Service. Waipukurau, December 8. A email entry of sheep was offered at the Waipukurau sale to-day. Cattle values remained firm. One shorthorn bullock topped the market at £l3. One prime Red Polled heifer made £B/2/6; ( two prime P.A. heifers, £B/1/-: two good, heavy Hereford cows, £7; one medium Jersey bullock, £6/14/-; seven medium Hereford cows, £6/10/-: two well-condi-tioned Jersey cows, £5; one good I’.A. cow with calf. £B/15/-; two forward P.A. steers, £7/15/-; two empty Jersey cows, £2/17/-; three yearling I’.A. heifers, £3/11 /6. Sheep: Two prime woolly wethers, 32/-; one prime six-tooth ewe, 24/-; six good, heavy shorn ewes, 23/-; ISS early shorn, well-grown wethers, 22/4; 81 ditto, 23/6; 91 ditto, account Mr. J. G. Wilson. Hatuma. 23/4. Norsewood Sale Williams and Kettle, Ltd., held their fortnightly stock sale on Monday, when they offered a medium yarding of cattle and pigs to a good- attendance. All lots of stock sold well, and a total clearance was effected at the following rates:—Cattle: Fat Jersey cows. £3/10/- to £4/10/-; springing-Jersey cows. £3/10/to £5; Jersey cows in milk, £2/16/- to £3/10/-. Pigs: Weaner pigs. 14/- to 18/-; I Tamworth sow, in pig. £3/10/-. The Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd.’s realisations were: — Fat cows and heifers, £3/15/-, £4. £4 4/-, £4/10/-. £5/2/6 to £5/12/-; springing heifers, £3 715/-, £4 to £4/12/6; dairy cows. £3/10/-, £4, £4/15/- to £5 2/6; store cows. £2, £2/10/-, £3 to £3 12/-: yearling Jersey heifers, £3/5/- to £4/2/6; yearling Jersey bulls, £4/4/- to sJgns.
