Aeroplane as Time-saver Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, December 8. In a few hours the other day a Levin farmer accomplished what in the years before commercial air services were introduced in New Zealand would have taken, days. He rose early, helped with the shearing on his farm, left there at 7.30 a.m. and caught tiie 8.30 a.m. plane at Milson for Blenheim. He was in Blenheim at 9.35 a.m., and before catching the return plane to Palmerston North at 11.40 a.m. bought a line of several hundred sheep. He was back at Milson at 12.45 and caught the Napier train to Levin. Before 2.30 p.m. he was back at hie shearing.
