Producers and Vendors Ask For Investigation By Telegraph—-Press Association. Christchurch, December 8. The Christchurch City Council has set up a committee to Investigate the milk supply. Producers and vendors have asked the council to make an investigation with a view to setting up a milk board to control prices. They say that if tiiis suggestion is not adopted the only alternative is a municipal supply. At the present low prices, the producers say, they cannot, continue but may send their milk or cream to factories.
