Entertainment Changes (Jfrom "‘The Dominion,” Nov. 18. 1911.) Vaudeville as a steady form of entertainment comes and goes. Some time ago Messrs. Fuller reorganised their vaudeville business throughout New Zealand, utilising the Theatre Royal in Welling ton for vaudeville purposes. Now it is to be relegated to the background in favour of a new form of kineniatograph pictures- —the kineamacolour (or natural colour) pictures. These pictures, which call for an entirely new and expensive kind of machine and specially prepared films, have created a furore in England and America, and have given an impetus to the picture business. Messrs. Fuller, and Sons hope to be able to be iu a position to show the new pictures (in conjunction with the best kinemntographie scenes and photoplays) in the Theatre Royal on Monday week. On the same evening the doors of His Majesty’s Theatre in Courtenay Place will bo closed and the firm’s picture business will be transferred to the Skating Rink in Ingetstre Street now being refitted iit considerable expense. [The Theatre Royal was in Johnston Street. Ingest.re Street is now named Vivian Street.}
