Mr. J. P. Kenny, who recently retired from the position of secretary to the Napier Harbour Board after more than 50 years’ service with the board, left Napier on Saturday. Kent, treasurer of Todd Motors, Ltd., head office, Wellington. has been appointed to the position of manager of the Alliance Finance Corporation (N.Z.), Ltd. The Alliance Finance Corporation (N.Z.). Ltd., was registered in Wellington recently to carry on the exclusive financing of Ford car purchases in arrangement with the Ford Motor Company of New Zealand, Ltd.
