The Prime Minister’s Thrift
Sir, —According to the reported sayings of our Prime Minister, and 1 expect they are fairly accurate, the people who have been so foolish as to make provision for themselves and their families are to be plundered for the benefit of the wise folks who spend all their money as they get it. I think it highly probable that our democratic Government may end up as European democratic Governments have done, with it dictator. 1 should like to bet that in such an event the Dictator will not come from the Labour Party as at present constituted, none of whom, in my opinion, have the ability. —I am, etc., ONLOOKER.
