TRIBUTE TO AIRMAN
Squadron Leader McGregor
Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, November 12. A trophy to be called the McGregor Memorial Trophy is to be presented by Mr. M. H. Oram, a past-president of the Manavvatu Aero Club, it was reported to the annual meeting to-night. The trophy will be in honour of the late Squadron Leader M. C. McGregor's national service. It is proposed that it be open to competition among pilots of over 50 hours’ solo flying throughout the aero clubs of New Zealand. Mr. Oram was thanked for his gesture. Mrs. McGregor was to-night elected a life member of the club.
