♦■■■ Candidates For Manukau By-election NATIONAL PARTY v. LABOUR By Telegraph—Pre® Association. Auckland, September 16. Two candidates have beCn nominated for the contest in the Manukau byelection, which is ,to be held on September 30. When nominations closed at noon today, the returning officer had received the nominations F. W. Doidge and A. G. Osborne. There will thus be a clear-cut contest between representatives of the New Zealand National Party and the New Zealand Labour Party.
