CABARET EVENING
i Lever Brothers’ Staff r Entertained ! 'Members of ’ the staff of Lever Brothers (New Zealand), Ltd., and their friends were entertained at a cabaret evening at the Mayfair Cabaret recently, to celebrate the achievements of the founder of the company, the late Viscount Leverhulme. Both the dance rooms of the cabaret presented a very gay appearance, and the committee spared no effort In their endeavours to make this occasion a success, the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” coming all too £oon for: the majority of the dancers. Mr. H. F. Wood sang some of his popular successes, and an exhibition of ballroom dancing was very popular. The prizes for the novelty dances were presented during the evening by Mrs. W. F. Graham (wife of the managing director).
