BOYS’ INSTITUTE
The ladies’ auxiliary of the Boys’ Institute held its monthly meeting in the Institute Building, Tasman Street, recently, when Mrs. J. Hislop, president, who has been absent from Wellington for some time, was accorded a warm welcome. The director outlined the arrangements made for the “street day” appeal for the purpose of raising funds for the renovating and replenishing of furnishings in the boarding establishment A donation was received from Mrs. 0. Short for the street day funds.
