On a charge of receiving 37 packets of cigarettes of a total value of 19/-, well knowing them to have been stolen, Clarence Leopold Tolley. 22 years, motordriver, was remanded until September 23, when he appeared before Mr. Raymond Ferner, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, yesterday. It was stated that accused had only been arrested on Tuesday night and several other charges -would be placed against him.
