AN OPEN VERDICT
Coroner’s Inquiry Into Geelong Explosion Received. September 15, 9.40 p.m.) Melbourne, September 15. An open finding was recorded by the coroner at the inquiry into the death of Mrs. Aimee Milne, victim of the bomb explosion which wrecked Plain Clothes Constable Milne’s home at Geelong on July 13. When a bomb was thrown through the window of Constable Milne’s home at Geelong at 3 o’clock on th« morning of July 13, Mrs... Milne was blown to pieces, and her husband seriously hurt. The front, of the house was wrecked. Two children, who were asleep in a back room, luckily escaped. Constable Milne, who was formerly a well-known member of the Melbourne criminal investigation branch, wm transferred to Geelong some time ago. He had previously been threatened by. underworld enemies.
