Board Approves Report and Accounts At the monthly meeting of the Rural Intermediate Credit Board; held at, Wellington recently, a draft of the annual report for the year ended June 30, 1936, was placed before the board by the commissioner, Mr. E. O. Hales, and was approved for submission to the Minister, of Finance, Hon. W. Nash, for presentation to Parliament during the present session. The annual accounts of the board and the sixteen District Rural Intermediate Credit Boards were also approved, and will be submitted to the Minister for presentation to Parliament after they have been audited by the Controller and Auditor-General. Several Co-operative Rural Intermediate Credit Associations have recently held their annual general meetings, and reports and copies of the annual reports of the associations were received. It is evident that the associations, have been able to provide useful assistance to farmer-borrowers during the past year. Many of the annual reports refer in appreciative terms to the help which the board and its district representatives have been able to render to the associations and their borrowers.
