NGAIO TENNIS CLUB
Election of Officers A very satisfactory financial position was indicated by the treasurer’s report presented at the recent meeting of the Ngaio Lawn Tennis Club. As the dub is now affiliated to the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association, it was decided to enter a third grade men’s team and fourth grade men’s and womens team in the inter-club competition._ The following officers were appointed for the coming season:—Patron, Mr. J. H Jerram; president, Mr. N. D Macleod; vice-presidents, Messrs. L. G. Lowry, M.P., R. A. Wright, MJP., N. Bell, H. L. Cummings, R. Brmgans, J. B. Lea, E. Hicks; hon. secretary, Mr. R. Dixon; hon treasurer, Mr. D. Porter, club captain, Mr. H. Wilson; committee, Messrs. N. Macleod, R. Dixon, D. Porter, H. Wilson, G. M. Abbott, T. Liddall, S. Morra-h, Misses M. Ross and B. .Prince. The official opening day will be September 26.
