TENNIS DANCES

Newtown and Miramar Clubs A most delightful time was spent by members of the Newtown Tennis Club and their friends on 1 Saturday when, following the official opening of the courts in the afternoon, a dinner and dance was held. After dinner had been served the trophies for the 1035-36 season were presented by Mrs. F. H. Whatley. The dinner was followed by an informal dance, the pavilion being decorated in blue and white, the club’s colours.

During the evening’s entertainment. Miss I’auline Crawford danced a number of t.ap dances, which were very much appreciated by all present. The orchestra supplied delightful music for the dancing, and an excellent supper was served. 2V “Lucky Partner” dance was won by Miss Y.
