HOCKEY DANCE
Upper Hutt Club The Upper Hutt Ladies’ Hockey Club held a dance in the Record Hall on Tuesday evening when the Mayor, Mr. A. J. McCurdy, presented the cup for. the most improved player to Miss Marjorie Strickland. The hall was decorated by members of the men’s team, and was specially lighted. Mr. C. McGhie acted as M.C., and the Harmony Radio Boys provided excellent music. The committee responsible were Mrs. M. Wellington, Misses M. Fuller. V. Bailey, H. Croft, L. Griffen, Strickland (2), and Dell (2). .
